Felicita McHugh, Recording Secretary and Queens Borough Appointee

I’m honored to serve on the Community Education Council for District 24 in Queens. As a parent of a current student and a graduate of Queens schools, this community is truly home to me.

I’ve been an active part of our school community, serving as PTA President and a member of the School Leadership Team (SLT), working with families, educators, and school leaders to strengthen programs, improve communication, and advocate for resources. With over a decade of experience in accounting, I bring strong organizational and problem-solving skills to my work on the council.

My focus is on bringing families and schools closer together, supporting the diverse learning needs of students, and ensuring every child in District 24 has access to a safe, well-resourced, high-quality education.
